KAA-1300 with Dowel Extension

The automatic spray gun type: KAA-1300 is used for the automatic (not manual) coating of surfaces such as metal, plastic, ceramics, wood and other suitable surfaces.

Typical coating materials are e.g. Lacquers, paints, water-dilutable paint systems, adhesives, oil, release agents, etc. Abrasive materials can also be processed at operating pressures below 5 MPa (50 bar). The automatic spray gun works according to the airless principle, ie the spray jet is generated exclusively by the material pressure, which forces the material through a nozzle. After exiting the nozzle, the spray jet assumes the shape specified by the nozzle. It is aimed at the workpiece. The effective spray jet is not quite as wide as theoretically possible.

The particles of the spray jet reach much higher speeds than with compressed air-driven sprayers. The material throughput is correspondingly higher and the jet sharper, ie the turbulence zone is smaller. The size and shape of the jet can only be changed by changing the nozzle.

The diameter of the nozzle bore determines the amount of material flow, the size and geometry of the nozzle opening, which is always elliptical in shape, determine the height and width of the jet (shape of an elliptical cone).

The nozzle can be continuously rotated through 360° in the axis of the spray jet and locked in any position. This allows the angle at which the jet hits the workpiece to be optimally adapted to the respective circumstances.

A large number of airless nozzles are available.
